It’s been a lo ng while since we’ve had one of these, but Nauraushaun’s post reminded me of this:

The suspension and steering geometry on these Citroens appear to be installed backwards or upside down or both....it's comically bad.

...it’s comically bad good.
FTFY.
Cheap, bombproof, combines magic carpet ride with softroad capability that’d put most modern crossovers to shame, hilariously roly-poly, allows both massive understeer and massive oversteer AT THE SAME TIME: what’s not to like? Its Citroen at their best - 30 years ahead of where the rest of the world isn’t going.

And yet AWESOME!
I genuinely shed a tear when the poor red and white one crunched that guard rail slightly at the end there...luckily it should be easily repairable...

I had an aged aunt who drove one all the way through my childhood. Being allowed to sit in her car and play with the height adjustment lever was the highlight of any visit.

Yup, literally everything is bolt-on on these. You can take them all the wa y down to their component parts with a couple of adjustable wrenches and a screwdriver, as long as you have a plentiful supply of Ga uloises and someone to hold your vin rouge .

I like the 2CV Cross which is its own championship that was supposed to have 10 events in 2020 :
You also have the 24h of Spa for 2CV and C1 that is quite nice :
And of course some for hillclimbing :

Would love a 2CV or Dyane, but it seems their prices have skyrocketed in recent years...
